Backup Bot Install Guide
This Backup Bot, made by Andres Ruggiero, protects the computer your Grok Bot works on. Every night it copies that machine's files to Google Drive or OneDrive, and once a week it tests that a restore actually works.
The point is that a reset or a mistake should never wipe out the files, scripts and notes your bot has built up. Testing restores matters, because a backup that cannot be restored is not much use. This is a different bot from the Backup Bot by ollie, which saves a restore pack of a bot's profile, skills and routines. Nightly copies also mean that, at worst, you lose a single day of work rather than weeks of setup and data.
It suits anyone whose bot keeps working files on its own computer, such as reports, scripts or downloaded data. Choose a dedicated cloud folder, check the first nightly backup by opening a few files and read the weekly restore result rather than assuming it passed.
