Inbot Install Guide
Inbot, made by Matthew Silberman, gathers every inbox you use into one place. When you set it up, it asks you to connect each one you actually check, such as email, Slack or Teams, your calendars, Notion and messaging apps. Then, on a schedule, it sweeps them all and pulls out what is a real to-do.
It keeps a record of everything it has already processed, so nothing is counted twice and nothing slips through between sweeps. For people whose requests arrive in five different apps, this replaces the habit of checking each one in turn and still missing the message that mattered.
It suits busy owners, managers and anyone juggling messages across several tools. Connect only the inboxes you really use, check its first few to-do lists against the apps themselves and tell it which channels are noise so its lists stay short.

Worked Example: One list from five apps
Example only: an illustration of how a session could go, not a real client, case or result.
- You connect Gmail, Slack, Google Calendar and Notion.
- At noon Inbot sweeps all four.
- It finds a client request in Slack and a deadline in a Notion comment.
- It adds both to your to-do list and skips 30 messages that need nothing.
- It records every item so the next sweep starts fresh.
